Board Meeting Dates and Times
Meetings are held the second and fourth Thursdays at 3:00 PM in our District
office beginning February 25, 2021. If you are planning on attending a meeting,
please see the
attached form of public meeting policies. Each meeting has a
designated public comment time allotted.

Per the Governor's directive for King County, Board Meetings for the
foreseeable future will be held via teleconference. If you wish to participate,
please contact the District office prior to the start of the meeting and we will
work with you to get you set up. If you can't attend and wish to make a public
comment, you can E-mail or mail in your comments prior to the Board Meeting
and they will be read and included in the official meeting minutes.

The Board of Commissioners are always looking for qualified candidates to
potential fill any vacancies in the future. If you are interested in the District and

Your Commissioners

As a local municipality, Water District 125 operates under the authority of Title 57 of the Revised
Code of Washington. The District is subject to federal, state and local regulations. Three local
citizens are elected to the Board of Commissioners by voters living within the District's
boundaries. The Board of Commissioners establishes water rates, sets policies, and oversees
operations.

Water District 125 is pleased to welcome our newest,
Commissioner Leebue Maidesil, to the Board. Leebue was
appointed to the Board on January 28, 2021 to serve until the
next general election in 2021. Commissioner Maidesil is a
graduate from the Tukwila School District. He is also a
Marine Corp Veteran who served 8 years as both a reservist
and on active duty. Commissioner Maidesil received the
Association of Boards Certification in 2017 for collections in
public utilities. He brings a wealth of knowledge of the
industry in his current employment and as commissioner.
Water District 125 is pleased to welcome our newest, Commissioner
Laura Marrone, to the Board. Laura was appointed to the Board on
September 24, 2020 to serve until the next general election in 2021.
Commissioner Marrone brings a wealth of water knowledge to the
Board of Commissioners. As a rate payer, you may recognize her as
a familiar face. She served for 15 years as the Administrative
Technician of Water District 125. She was also part of the team that
was given the Washington State Auditor’s Stewardship award in
recognition of outstanding accomplishment in the stewardship of
public resources in 2017. She brings with her a working knowledge of
the industry that will be extremely beneficial for the District moving
forward..

Re-elected in fall 2017. Current term expires 12/31/2023
-    Member of the Pacific Northwest Section of the American
Water Works Association
-    Family has resided in the District since 1990 and raised three
kids who are graduates of the Tukwila School District
Special Meetings
Special Board Meetings are called when a regular meeting date falls on a holiday
or when specific issues arise between regular meeting dates. Special Board
Meetings are posted at the District office and website at least 24 hours prior to
the meeting time.
The Next Commissioner Meeting is Scheduled for April 8, 2021 at 3:00
